Activities and dates for the BADAC Junior (under 18) Club have just been published. A full programme running from June to September has been arranged by our new Junior Club coordinator, Anne Woodcock.
The full programme can be viewed on the Juniors page on this website.
As you may already be aware, the fishing lodge at Witton Castle Lakes was recently broken into and a lot of ground work tools were stolen. In order to raise funds to help replace this equipment it has been suggested by some members that we have fundraising activities at the Annual General Meeting in November.
Therefore, we are looking for prizes to either be raffled or auctioned off at the AGM. If you would like to donate an item please contact the membership secretary with your name, address and telephone number and the item you wish to donate – if the item is for auction please let us know your reserve price. All donations, whatever their value, will be greatly appreciated and helpful towards the club.
Unfortunately the fishing lodge was broken into at Witton Castle Lakes over the weekend. Some undesirables forced their way into the lodge, and the shed; smashing door frames and locks to gain entry, dismantling the alarm and breaking into the safe.
Witton Castle Lakes will close after Sunday 22nd February in preparation for our 2015 season opening weekend on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th March, when will be open both days from 8.00am for ticket sales and fishing commences from 8.15am.
Ticket prices remain unchanged from the 2014 season with a full day 3 fish ticket costing £25 and a full day sporting ticket at £16. For all other ticket prices please visit the website at: wittoncastlelakes.com or call the fishing lodge on 01388 488691.
Witton Castle Lakes look forward to welcoming visiting anglers for the 2015 season, we would also recommend booking your tickets in advance to avoid any disappointment.
