It’s been reported that September has been the driest for over 50 years and so it has shown with the warm and sunny conditions retuning to Witton Castle Lakes. Again, this has been reflected in the numbers with just 51 anglers visiting the lakes to fish, returning a rod average of 2.

After the bright and sunny conditions of the last few weeks Witton Castle Lakes welcomed a week of cooler temperatures and near constant cloud cover. The visiting numbers rose to 72 as anglers took advantage of the improved conditions and better sporting action to fish the lakes.
