Bishop Auckland District Angling Club

BADAC_2014_02_Sticky

Bishop Auckland District Angling Club controls over 17 miles of water on the River Wear from Witton-le-Wear to Croxdale and just under 4 miles on the upper reaches of the River Tees at Eggleston.

The River Wear is regarded as the premier river in England for sea trout and the number two river for salmon. The River Tees offers superb brown trout and grayling fishing and continues to improve each year as a salmon river. Last season the club waters produced salmon up to 23½lb, sea-trout to 13½lb and brown trout to 4lb on the River Wear and salmon up to 25lb on the River Tees.

The club has vacancies for the 2014 season:  £175 for  Adults and £25 for Juniors. Which offers exceptional value for money for the range and quality of the fishing available.

For more information and application forms please contact Bishop Auckland District Angling Club membership secretary, Keith Robson on: Telephone: 01388 818 720 or Email: robsonkeith2@hotmail.co.uk
